According to opinion polls, almost 70% of voters do not want Tim Nicholls, the leader of Queensland's Liberal National Party opposition, to become premier today.  On the other hand, almost as many do not want Anna Palaszczuk returned as Premier.  Seemingly, One Nation is set to win a swag of seats and hold balance of power in the new Parliament.

Of course, the only real poll is the ballot box on election day.  This time voting is fully preferential for the first time in many years.  It could produce some interesting results.
